Last week was a very stressful week for me. My creative writing class is doing NaNoWriMo, which, for those of you who don't know, is a 'contest' where you try to write a 50,000 word story in a month. The class goal is 25,000, which gets you an A, but I really want to make it to 50,000. I use contest lightly, as there really isn't a price. Usually. This year, however, if you make it all the way, this company will give you a copy of your story in paperback form. Which would be fun. *shrug*
I'm way behind in word count though, and trying to catch up will probably end up killing me...

Also last week my English teacher piled us with a ton of homework. Reading (Grape of Wrath), writing, and creating a storyboard for what we read. And we have to write a letter to an author explaining how the book 'changed our lives' or how much we enjoyed it. That'll be a pain.

To top all of this off, I was an idiot and decided to sign up for the UIL Spelling/Vocabulary thing at our school. I love words, but the only reason I really did it was to spend more time with some of my senior friends before they graduate.

So, if I suddenly die, you'll know what happened. School. *nods*

Halloween was great. I got to see a dear friend of mine again, after a long wait. I think the spirit of the holiday might have gotten to us both.

I was in the Homecoming Parade with my Anime Club group, now named The Organization. Cliché, I know, but whatever. It's fun. The parade was great, even though our float got rained on the night before.

November seems to be the month for birthday's for me. One of my friends had one today, another has one tomorrow, another on the 24th, and mine is on the 26th. Lots of baking for me this month...
